The call to help the planet
has always been there, as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was fortunate to have an avid outdoorsman as a father, and was taught from a young age to love and respect nature. At my core, I believe that people can and should learn to live in harmony with nature. Helping to restore and maintain the delicate balance that we’ve disrupted is not only possible, it’s imperative.

My career in electrical and energy systems started
on the East Coast as an electrical apprentice in 1996. When I made the move to the Pacific Northwest two years later, I transitioned into Low Voltage Electrical work and became a licensed journeyman. I started my own Audio Video, Lighting Control & Automation company in 2005. I was fortunate in connecting with wonderful clients and dedicated employees, who helped my company flourish. To this day, it still continues to provide beautifully designed and high-quality AV systems under new ownership.
In 2021, I decided to make the change I always desired; to dedicate the rest of my professional life doing my part to restore that natural balance.
Combining my technical background, love of people, and a deep desire to help our planet, I started BCS Northwest with the goal of helping people achieve net-zero energy consumption in their own homes.
